Major Achievements in 2011 Positive Sign for Growth in New Year

Mooresville, NC – January 24, 2011 – Moving into its ninth year in business, Utilipath LLC, a network solutions provider, demonstrated increased success with three major industry awards. In 2011, Utilipath was named to the “Inc. 5000” list for a second time, was recognized by the Charlotte Business Journal as a member of the “Fast 50” list for the third consecutive year and ranked ninth among the fastest growing mid-market companies headquartered in North Carolina.

“We are proud of our accomplishments this year, during a time when many companies still struggled from a down economy,” said Lindon Hayes, founder of Utilipath. “We attribute our recent success to the entrepreneurial spirit that drives the innovation and strategy we provide to our clients.”

In August, Inc. magazine ranked Utilipath 1475th on its fifth annual Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy – America’s independent entrepreneurs.

Utilipath was also named to the Charlotte Business Journal Fast 50, a list that recognizes privately held businesses in the region for substantial growth. The company was chosen because it boasted a 112 percent sales growth from 2008 through 2010, during the economic downturn.

This success in sales growth percentages led to additional accolades. The NC Mid-Market FAST 40, a program that showcases companies headquartered in North Carolina that demonstrate consistent growth, ranked Utilipath the ninth fastest growing middle-market company in the state.

“Each of the companies on the Inc., Charlotte Business Journal and Business North Carolina lists is driving the economic development of the regions in which they conduct business,” Hayes continued. “Additionally, we increased our workforce by 18% by adding employees in several states around the country and expect to continuing adding more in 2012.”

Utilipath LLC was formed in 2003 with the idea to provide innovative, turn-key solutions for their customers freeing them to focus on their core competencies.

Today, Utilipath serves some of the largest companies in the world, including all five of the largest US-based telecommunication companies, two of the top four largest systems integrators, the top four largest US-based CATV companies, and numerous Fortune 500 customers. Utilipath has successfully completed project in 45 states and Canada.
