UTM RBT introduces New Technology and Products at SHOT Show, Las Vegas, NV
UTM Reality Based Training (UTM RBT) will be attending the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show and Conference for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting accessories industry at the Sands Expo Center, Las Vegas, NV on January 19-23, 2015. UTM RBT will be holding demonstrations of their new products and the most innovative, technologically advanced and comprehensive training system in existence on Industry Day (19 January, 2015) and will be on display at booth #6503 for the remainder of the expo (20-23 January).
“2015 is all about new technology and product solutions for our clients and customers, which is why we are introducing our new 7.62mm range of products, which includes both 7.62mm x 51 linked and loose and 7.62 x 39 Non-Lethal Training Ammunition available in SBR, BBR and MMR. The 7.62mm Man Marking Rounds are not only the safest and most accurate of any training ammunition available on the market today but the only 7.62mm Man Marking round in existence – with an unprecedented consistent velocity of 375 fps and 1.97-inch mean radius grouping at 25 meters,” says Tony Lambraia, UTM RBT, USA Chief of Operations. “To complement our new 7.62mm ammunition line we have also developed weapon conversions for the HK 417, M240B and a dedicated AK-47 conversion and will be announcing more 7.62mm platform conversions later this year. We also have a new dedicated MP7 conversion and 4.6mm NLTA ammunition. These rifle conversions, like many of our others, are an easy bolt exchange, which means operators are using their own weapons, optics and accessories – no modifications needed - and once converted, the weapon cannot fire a standard live round because our bolt has a 3mm offset firing pin.
