Anders Narvinger new V&S Board Chairman

Anders Narvinger has been appointed new Chairman of the Board of V&S Vin & Sprit AB, succeeding Claes Dahlbäck. Eva Lindqvist has been elected new Member of the Board.

Jonas Iversen, Ebbe M Loiborg, Helle Kruse Nielsen and Mats G Ringesten have been re-elected to the Board.

Anders Narvinger is Director-General of the Association of Swedish Engineering Industries and former CEO of ABB Sweden. He is Chairman of the Boards of Trelleborg AB, Alfa Laval AB, the Swedish Trade Council and the Invest in Sweden Agency. Narvinger, a MSc in Engineering and in Economics, is also on the Board of Volvo Car Corporation and a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and ICC Sweden.

Eva Lindqvist is Senior Vice President Mobile Business at TeliaSonera AB. She has held various leading positions at Telia Sonera, including President and Head of Business Operation International Carrier. Between 1981 and 1999 she worked in the Ericsson Group. Eva Lindqvist, a MSc in Economics and in Engineering, is also a Board Member of Schibstedt ASA, Investment Aktiebolaget Spiltan, Transmode, Trolltech ASA and a Member of the Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.

Claes Dahlbäck, chairman of the Board since 1993, has earlier announced that he will not seek re-election.

The appointments were made by today’s Annual General Meeting of V&S Vin & Sprit AB.
