Ann Krumlinde new Board member at Väderstad
Väderstad, a global leader in agriculture with innovative, highly efficient machinery and methods, is strengthening its Board of Directors with the appointment of Ann Krumlinde. With extensive experience from the finance and green business sectors, Ann Krumlinde is a strong external addition to the Group.
Ann Krumlinde, who was elected to the Board of Directors at the annual general meeting on 23 March, has held senior positions with Danske Bank for 15 years and served as CEO of Danske Bank Sverige between 2012 and 2017. In addition to this new board assignment for Väderstad, Krumlinde is also a board member at Bynk, Landshypotek and Wästgöta Finans.
- We are delighted at Ann’s appointment to our Board. With her solid experience in both the finance and agriculture industry, I am convinced that she will bring valuable expertise to the table at Väderstad during our continued expansion, says Crister Stark, Chairman of the Board and a shareholder in the Group.
Growing up on a farm north of Motala gave Krumlinde plenty of early insight into the agricultural world. This connection to the land, forests and green business has characterised her professional career in various ways ever since. Among other things, she was a driving force in introducing the business area Forestry and Agriculture at Danske Bank and has worked with LRF Konsult. Her board assignment at Landshypotek also has ties with green businesses.
- Väderstad is a fantastic and innovative international group, with a strong and clear vision and culture. Its ability to achieve strong growth in a short space of time is impressive. It will be very exciting to be involved in driving that development forward, and I hope to be able to contribute some of my experience of and expertise in business development, as well as risk and financial issues, says Ann Krumlinde.
Linnéa Stark, Charlotte Stark and Victoria Sirén, all of whom are third-generation shareholders, were also elected to the Board of Directors. They contribute expertise in the areas of communication, HR and marketing. Consequently, Väderstad’s new Board has 60 per cent female representation and a broad age range.
