Valmet awarded as "The Leading Global Service Provider" for the LNG industry

Valmet has received an award for being the leading global service provider for the liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry. The award was granted at Small-Mid Scale LNG Summit 2018 held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on October 3, 2018.
LNG Industry Awards recognize the excellence of companies from across the globe for the commitment to the field of LNG. The awards are bestowed to the most deserving companies and individuals working for the betterment of the LNG market. This year, the Leading Global Service Provider award was given to Valmet for executing industry-leading effort by supplying automation and software solutions for the LNG industry and making a significant impact on the industry on a global scale.
Valmet provides the LNG industry with automation technology and software that cover local level process control, operations and business management in the LNG infrastructure.
"It is a great honor to receive this award, especially as Valmet started offering its automation and software solutions for the LNG industry only a year ago. We have developed our Valmet DNA Integrated Operations automation solution especially for smaller-scale operations such as filling stations, production states, etc. because their management, in particular, is challenging," says Jani Hautaluoma, Director, Process Automation, Valmet.
Hautaluoma was one of the speakers at the event, presenting a paper titled 'Real-time data from LNG transfers with Integrated Operations and automatic reporting'.
