Vasakronan sells two properties to Specialfastigheter for SEK 2.3 billion

Prior to a sale of Vasakronan, the owner has requested certain adaptations within Vasakronan’s property portfolio, entailing, for example, that the Stockholm Tre Vapen 4 and Stockholm Fruktkorgen 1 properties shall remain under state ownership.

Accordingly, Vasakronan has agreed the sale of the Tre Vapen 4 and Fruktkorgen 1 properties to Specialfastigheter for a total purchase consideration corresponding to SEK 2,320 M.

The Tre Vapen 4 property is to be sold to Specialfastigheter for an underlying property value of SEK 1,135 M. Transfer will occur on December 15, 2008. The tenant is the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration.

The Fruktkorgen 1 property, Rådhuset in Stockholm, is to be sold to Specialfastigheter for an underlying property value of SEK 1,185 M. Transfer will occur on December 15, 2009, when the project in progress in the property will be completed. The tenant is the Swedish National Courts Administration.
