Vasakronan buys centrally located building in Göteborg for SEK 54 M. Vasakronan continues to invest in Göteborg. Buys another property building in center of city. Inom Vallgraven 32:1 building is acquired for SEK 54 M. Vasakronan is acquiring the Inom Vallgraven 32:1 building from a limited partnership, with Tornstaden and PEAB, among others, as joint owners. The purchase price is SEK 54 M. The building is located immediately adjacent to some of Vasakronan's other properties at Kaserntorget 6. The building was completely renovated in 1999, at which time flexible and specially adapted offices were created. The rentable floor space amounts to approximately 2,850 square meters, of which offices occupy 2,025 square meters and shops, a restaurant and storage space account for the remaining 500. A number of new tenants have recently moved into the building, which today is occupied by more than ten companies in the fields of web production, music and design. "The building is located in a very attractive segment of the market that we believe offers a good potential," Rolf Åkerman, manager of Vasakronan's Western Region, says. "Vasakronan has a strong position in the market for offices in central Göteborg and our ambition is to further strengthen it. "The building is located close to our other properties, which means that it can be managed efficiently. The service facilities and communications in central Göteborg are also very good."
