At an extraordinary Board meeting, Vasakronan’s Board of Directors has decided to withdraw the dividend proposal of SEK 6 billion to the owners.

Covid-19 has had major consequences for society. Vasakronan’s societal role entails a responsibility for contributing to long-term financial stability. The full extent of the consequences of Covid-19 have yet to be revealed.

For these reasons the Board has decided to withdraw the dividend proposal of SEK 6 billion to the owners. The Board has also decided to return to this question later in the year and to reassess the situation based on the circumstances prevailing at that time.“Withdrawing the dividend proposal is a wise move. This is about good business ethics and acting responsibly,” says Johanna Skogestig, CEO of Vasakronan.
