Carolina Wallenius has been appointed Head of Communications for Vattenfall. She will begin on February 1, 2008.

Carolina Wallenius has previously worked with strategic development issues and as a political expert for Stockholm County Council, which is one of Sweden’s largest organizations with more than 45,000 employees and SEK 60 billion in turnover. She has also been a member of Group management for Tradimus (now Aditro), one of Sweden’s fastest growing companies in the outsourcing sector. ”With her experience in strategic development and communication, Carolina Wallenius has a background that will be very useful for Vattenfall in its efforts to become a leading European energy group,” says Vattenfall’s CEO Lars G. Josefsson.

”Vattenfall is an international group that is currently in an important development phase. This means that it will face challenges that place high demands on communication. I think it is very exciting to be given the opportunity to be a part of realising Vattenfall’s ambitions to be Number One for the Customer and Number One for the Environment,” says Carolina Wallenius.
