Jan Edberg appointed new Managing Director of Ringhals and Barsebäck Jan Edberg, who is currently Executive Chairman of Elektrocieplownie Warszawskie, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Ringhals AB and its subsidiary Barsebäck Kraft AB. Jan Edberg, who is 52, succeeds Anders Hjorth who is retiring. Jan Edberg is a graduate engineer and began his career at ABB Atom in 1973. He has spent a large part of his working life in various senior management posts at Vattenfall, including a period as Managing Director of Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB from 1997 to 2000. Over the last 12 months, Jan Edberg has been working at Elektrocieplownie Warszawskie S.A., the Polish CHP company that Vattenfall acquired in January 2000.
