Jan Erik Back to become Vattenfall’s CFO

Jan Erik Back is to become the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Vattenfall Group in January 2007, when Matts Ekman, the present CFO, is due to retire. Jan Erik Back will start at Vattenfall on 14 December.

Mr Back, born 1961, has been the CFO of the Swedish insurance Group Skandia since 2002, a company he joined in 1998. During the first eleven years of his professional career he held various posts at Handels-banken.
