New Head of Vattenfall Public Affairs

Christopher Eckerberg will succeed Arne Mogren as Head of the Public Affairs unit at Group Function Communications. The Public Affairs unit handles contacts with the government, parliament, authorities and other organisations. Christopher Eckerberg will take up his new post at the turn of the year.

For the past two years, Christopher Eckerberg, who is 35, has headed Mega, the unit at Sales Nordic that is responsible for the electricity-intensive industrial sector. He has worked in the energy sector for 10 years and at Vattenfall for the last three years.

Arne Mogren will move on to become Head of the Climate Change Office, a new unit at the Group. The Climate Change Office will primarily work with Vattenfall’s increasing commitments with regard to global climate issues, including Vattenfall’s “Combat Climate Change” agenda.
