Niek den Hollander leaves Vattenfall

Senior Vice President and Head of Vattenfall’s Business Area Markets, Niek den Hollander, has decided to leave Vattenfall and will commence a position at Uniper.

-      I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of a company that is so successfully leading the energy transition, and it has been a privilege to be surrounded by so many skilled, competent and pleasant colleagues. My time at Vattenfall has been enriching in many ways, and I wish the company and its people nothing but sustained success, says Niek den Hollander.

Niek den Hollander joined Vattenfall in 2014 and his main background lies within trading. In Vattenfall he was Head of Trading between 2014 and 2017 and since then he has been Head of Business Area Markets.

-     Niek has been very appreciated and is well respected within a field that is constantly developing and highly specialised. Niek den Hollander continues in Vattenfall until March 31. A recruitment process for a successor will start immediately.
