Reinforcement of safety and management at Forsmark

In order to further reinforce management at Forsmark and particularly Lars Fagerberg’s role in safety issues, Göran Persson has been appointed new Vice CEO of Forsmark. His special assignment is to co-ordinate renewal investments with the extensive 60-point safety increasing programme that was begun in 2006. Göran Persson is presently Head of Forsmark 2. A new Head of Forsmark 2 will be appointed shortly.

Former Vice CEO Claes-Göran Runmark, also Head of Forsmark 3, can hereby devote himself to Forsmark 3 full-time.

Responsibility for safety at the whole of Forsmark nuclear power plant rests on CEO Lars Fagerberg. This responsibility is then delegated to the heads of each reactor. As support there is a Head of Security who reports directly to the CEO.
