Vattenfall over 90 per cent in Arrowhead. Offer prolonged The notification period for Vattenfall AB's (publ) ("Vattenfall") offer to shareholders in Arrowhead AB (publ) ("Arrowhead") expired on 16 May 2001. It can be noted that today Vattenfall controls shares in Arrowhead equivalent to 91.3 per cent of all shares and 91.3 per cent of the voting rights. Reporting of payment for the shares in Arrowhead surrendered before 16 May 2001 is expected to begin around 29 May 2001. Vattenfall has decided to prolong the offer up to and including 1 June 2001. With regard to shareholders in Arrowhead who surrender shares during the prolonged notification period, reporting of payment is expected to begin around 14 June 2001. Vattenfall reserves the right to acquire further shares in Arrowhead by means of the stock market. Vattenfall intends to begin compulsory purchase of outstanding shares in the near future. The offer is not directed at persons whose participation presupposes a further prospectus, registration measures or measures other than those that follow from Swedish law.
