Vattenfall's shares in Hafslund to be sold to Sydkraft

Vattenfall's shares in Hafslund to be sold to Sydkraft Sydkraft and Vattenfall today signed an agreement to the effect that Sydkraft will acquire all of Vattenfall's shares in the Norwegian listed company Hafslund. This deal means that Sydkraft will acquire a further 5.8 per cent of the votes and will thus control a total of 26.5 per cent of the votes in Hafslund. Sydkraft will pay NOK 47 per share for the A shares and NOK 38 per share for the B shares. The sale is conditional on the approval of the boards of Sydkraft and Hafslund.
