Vattenfall selects meter supplier Vattenfall has chosen Actaris Technologies AB as the supplier of the remote electricity meters that will be installed on the premises of Vattenfall's network customers beginning this autumn. In Vattenfall's judgement, Actaris is the company that best meets the criteria set. Actaris Technologies AB is a Swedish subsidiary of the French company Actaris, one of the largest meter manufacturers in the world with a turnover of @647 million and 6 500 employees in some 30 countries. The procurement will be finalised in accordance with the Public Procurement Act. The installation of remote electricity meters is part of Vattenfall's effort to simplify things for its customers by providing monthly meter readings and easy-to-read bills and by eliminating preliminary debiting.
