Vattenfall sponsors European Athletics Championships Vattenfall will be a main sponsor for the European Athletics Championships to be held in August 2006. The 19th European Athletics Championships will be held from 7 to 13 August 2006 at Ullevi in Gothenburg. They are being arranged jointly by the City of Gothenburg and the Swedish Amateur Athletics Association (SFIF) in close co-operation with the local business community and non-profit organisations.
