Vattenfall to present its first CSR report
Vattenfall to present its first CSR report For the first time, the Vattenfall Group will publish a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report. This report will be presented during a seminar in Brussels on Wednesday, October 13th. In the report Vattenfall analyses how stakeholder expectations were met during 2003. It separately evaluates performances in the areas of "environment", "society", and "economy". Vattenfall has based its CSR report on the Global Reporting Initiative's (GRI) sustainability reporting standard (2002), which provides both qualitative and quantitative data. "Vattenfall is a company in which taking on responsibility is part of everyday life. Our operations are based on a long-term environmental approach", says Vattenfall's President and CEO Lars G Josefsson. The report is to be presented by Mr Josefsson and senior management during a seminar for Members of the European Parliament and representatives of the EU institutions on Wednesday, October 13th, 14:30 - 17:00, at Renaissance Brussels Hotel, Rue du Parnasse 19, Brussels (1050).
