Cementa and Vattenfall are conducting a pilot study on electrified cement production with the objective of zero carbon dioxide emissions by 2030. This is equivalent to a reduction of about 5% of Sweden's total emissions.Cement production that is electrified and supplied by a climate smart Swedish energy system is the future vision in the CemZero collaborative project.
