TENURED DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE TARA MCCAFFREY NAMED VP OF MARKETING FOR VAULT.COM

New York, NY, (August 17, 2010) Vault.com, Inc. today announced the appointment of Tara McCaffrey to Vice President of Marketing, effective today.  As VP of Marketing, Ms. McCaffrey will assume overall responsibility for all aspects of marketing at Vault including brand development, email marketing, ecommerce, client and end user marketing.  Based in New York, Ms. McCaffrey reports to Claude Sheer, Vault CEO.  The two have worked together in the past.

Ms. McCaffrey comes to Vault with a rich history in digital marketing and a strong track-record for increasing brand awareness, traffic and revenue streams.  Ms. McCaffrey spent a significant portion of her career at WebMD, Inc., first as a marketing analyst in 1999 leading to the role of the director of marketing.  During this time, she helped build the WebMD bran through off-line and online initiatives, resulting in significant year-over-year traffic growth, and leading WebMD in becoming one of the largest websites on the Internet today. 

More recently, Ms. McCaffrey served as the vice-president of marketing for Beliefnet, becoming a key player in successfully growing the largest faith and spirituality site on the web, as well launching the Beliefnet social networking platform.  In almost two years at Beliefnet, she tripled blog traffic through viral campaigns, direct marketing and search engine marketing and increased direct mail performance by 62% through a number of key initiatives, the whole of which helped foster a major acquisition by NewsCorp.  Most recently Ms. McCaffrey served as Sr. Director of Consumer Marketing for LexisNexis where she helped to increase brand awareness of lawyers.com across key internet based and standard marketing channels.
