VAULT.COM ADDS ANOTHER TENURED EXECUTIVE TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM
New York, NY, (September 14, 2010) Vault.com, Inc. today announced Robert Taylor has joined as Chief Revenue Officer. Taylor brings over 15 years of experience and a track record of innovation in the online recruitment market. He will assume the overall responsibility for the strategic and day to day management of Vault’s sales organizations. Based in New York, Taylor reports to Claude Sheer, Vault CEO.
“Bob is a successful and tenured entrepreneur, innovative digital executive and corporate sales executive. We are very pleased to have Bob joining Vault during this exciting growth period,” said Sheer. “His diverse experience in the recruitment industry will help to accelerate our momentum in all of the current lines of business while playing a leadership role in the creation of new and innovative opportunities.”
“I am excited to be joining a company that is recognized as the market leader in providing ratings, rankings and insights into premier companies and colleges,” said Taylor. “I am thrilled to be working with Claude and to once again be focused on innovative product and branding solutions that reduce the friction between in-demand candidates and the companies that seek to hire them.”
Founded in 1996, Vault.com is the only career resource of its kind and attracts more than 1000 employer and recruiter advertisers, more than 1200 school and institutional subscribers, and millions of individual visitors and members. Taylor joins Vault at a time when the economy is starting to show signs of picking up and the job market has reached levels of competitiveness unseen in recent years.
“Vault is uniquely positioned to provide job seekers, whether they are new to the work place or experienced lateral candidates, with the critical information needed to support a well informed employer selection process,” he continued. “The combination of Vault.com and our licensee platform Career Insider, provides tenured professionals and candidates from leading undergraduate and graduate academic institutions the essential intelligence they need to make the best career decisions possible. In addition, Vault provides prestigious employers, including Fortune 1000 and Global 500 companies, with an ideal environment to communicate the compelling reasons why highly credentialed in-demand candidates should choose to work for them.”
Taylor comes to Vault with a rich history developing and delivering best practices in online media strategy. He spent a significant portion of his career at Bernard Hodes Group, including a role as Vice President of Affiliate Development for CareerMosaic, which became one of the industry-leading job boards, CareerBuilder. Taylor structured and wrote many of the first co-branded affiliate agreements on the Internet, a majority of which still survive on CareerBuilder.com today. As Senior Vice President, Global Interactive Director for Bernard Hodes Group, he formalized the pricing and delivery of the agency’s interactive products and services throughout the United States and Canada. These innovative products include the initial launch of Hodes iQ and SmartPost, a leading applicant tracking system and job aggregator. Promoted in 2002 to Senior Vice President National Media Director, Taylor turned around a two year erosion of online media revenue to a ten-fold increase.
More recently, Taylor served in a new senior sales role at Yahoo, where he successfully met company goals in growth and retention of Fortune 500 Enterprise Accounts during a difficult economy. Most recently, he served as President and Co-Founder of Employment, LLC., developing the overall start-up business model. During his year-plus with the company, Taylor conceptualized multiple unique products not contemplated in today's online sourcing market.
