Mobile Climate Control changes name to Mobile Thermal Solutions
From 1st of February the largest division within VBG Group, Mobile Climate Control (MCC) changes name to Mobile Thermal Solutions (MTS).
At the same time the division transforms into a multi-brand division to effectively target different niches of the commercial vehicle market. A new brand is launched for the bus segment – Bus Climate Control (BCC). The new BCC brand will develop the bus offering and focus on bus customers. MCC (Mobile Climate Control) remains as a brand targeting the off-road and the utility vehicle market.
The division MTS offers synergies across the brands by leveraging a common supply chain, common business processes and tools, and in-depth HVAC knowhow. MTS has approximately 900 employees and accounts for almost 50 percent of the total VBG Group turnover.
“This feel like a natural next step for us”, says Eberhard Wolters, newly appointed Division CEO for MTS since the turn of the year. “By establishing our own brand in relation to our bus business, we can further strengthen and adapt this customer offer.”
