Veg of Lunds journey of growth continues with new CEO
Fredrik Carling has decided to step down from his role as CEO of the company and move on to new challenges. The board of Veg of Lund AB (publ) has today appointed Helene Nielsen as the new CEO of the company. Helene has extensive experience in export and sales from companies such as Oatly, Tweek, and Sproud, and has been the Director of International Sales at Veg of Lund for the past six months. Helene Nielsen will take up her new position at Veg of Lund on October 5, 2023.
Fredrik Carling joined Veg of Lund as CEO just over a year ago. Since then, he has injected new energy into the company and brought stability to the organisation, the board, and most importantly, to shareholders. During his period, Carling has implemented a completely new strategic overview of the business, resulting in a 400% increase in revenue in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the same quarter in 2022.
"As I leave Veg of Lund, after handing over, I see a company in a much better position than a year ago. A business model that will enable profitable growth, an updated unique product portfolio of the highest quality, and a company that is commercially well-positioned across various channels in the market. Helene Nielsen has held several leading sales roles in companies with consumer-oriented products and services.
