A Veidekke company to build Kjeller School in Skedsmo
The Veidekke company Seby AS has recently won several large contracts that together are worth just over NOK 150 million (excluding VAT). The largest contract is for the construction of a new school at Kjeller for Skedsmo Municipality. The value of this contract is NOK 103 million excluding VAT.
The new school, which will be in Kunnskapsveien in Kjeller, is for pupils in grades 1 to 10. With an area of 6,500 sq m, the new school is a turnkey project for Seby. Work has already started, and the school is scheduled to open in autumn 2010.
Renovation and remodelling of Ahus Hospital
Seby AS has also signed a contract with the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority at the new Ahus Hospital for internal and external renovation of the Nye Nord building. The project is a main contract valued at NOK 39 million excluding VAT. Work has already started and is scheduled for completion by 30 March 2010.
Library and canteen at Skedsmo Upper Secondary School
Seby is building a library and canteen at Skedsmo Upper Secondary School for Akershus County Administration. The project consists of renovating 620 m2 of existing buildings and building a 225 m2 extension. The project also includes replacing two ventilation systems. The contract is a general contract valued at NOK 11.5 million excluding VAT. Work is already underway on this project too and is due for completion in October 2009.
