Block Berge Bygg to extend shopping centre in Stavanger

Veidekke's subsidiary, Block Berge Bygg AS, has signed a turnkey contract with Sektor Kilden Eiendom AS for the extension of Kilden Shopping Centre in Stavanger. The contract price is NOK 103 million excl. VAT.
The contract covers the building of a new 4-storey car park and a new top floor. The extra floor will give the shopping centre an additional 5,000 sq.m. and room for about 15 new shops.


The project has been developed by Sektor Kilden Eiendom AS in close cooperation with Block Berge Bygg over the past year. Major challenges have arisen in connection with the area development plan, which is now finally in place. The architects for the project are Brandsberg-Dahl's Arkitektkontor AS and AMB Arkitekter AS.


The work will commence immediately after Easter and be completed by October 2007.
