Changes In Veidekke's Corporate Management
Mr. Eigil Flaathen (56) takes on the position as Executive Vice President and head of Industry Division. Mr. Flaathen graduated from the University of Washington in 1968 and started working for Veidekke in 1977. He has had various management positions in the company and was a member of the Corporate Management Group in the period 1989 - 1999. The last two years he was part of the management team of the Industry Division with strategy, take-overs and market issues as his special responsibility.
"There is always a challenge when a member of the corporate management leaves their position," says Mr. Terje R. Venold, President and CEO. "Therefore, we are very pleased to see that we have the resources and competence in our own organisation that will secure continuity and further growth," he adds.
The organisational changes are effective as of today, 4 September 2001.
