Housing Contract worth SEK 215 million for Veidekke Stockholm

Veidekke Stockholm AB has signed a contract with Svenska Bostäder for the construction of a number of apartments in Hammarby Sjöstad. This project includes both new construction and renovation of existing buildings. A total of 209 apartments are to be built, of which 87 are designed for students.
The building totals 24,000 m2 and consists of five to eight-storey blocks of apartments. The sizes of the apartments vary between one room and kitchen and five rooms and kitchen. Total living space is 11,200 m2. Parking will be provided in a covered part of the courtyard.


The work will be carried out as a turnkey project. Construction will start immediately and the apartments will be ready for occupation by the end of 2006.


The contract price is approximately SEK 215 million excluding VAT.
