The Lyngby Shopping Centre, owned by Danica Pension, has signed a total contract worth 250 million DKK with Veidekke' s subsidiary, H. Hoffmann & Sønner A/S, for renovation and rebuilding of the centre.

- Many years of development and preparation work will now be realised in close co-operation with Hoffmann, says Mr. Jan Olav Braaten, Developing Manager of Steen & Strøm Denmark.

- We are delighted at yet another visible proof of real Scandinavian co-operation. Hoffmann, which is part of the fourth largest contracting company in Scandinavia, Veidekke, is now going to build for a Norwegian owned company in Denmark, says Mr. Jørgen Huno Rasmussen, Managing Director of Hoffmann.

Architect and consultants for the modernisation work are KHR Arkitekter and Rambøll, which also designed the original centre.

Building license has been obtained and the work will start directly, and will be completed by 1 October 2003, which marks the anniversary of the Shopping Centre.
