New heavy construction contract for Veidekke in Stockholm
Veidekke Anläggning Öst AB has been commissioned by the City of Stockholm to undertake the third stage of the Kista development, just north of Stockholm. The contract price is approximately SEK 110 million.
The City of Stockholm is in the process of developing Kista into a dynamic urban community with a strong integration between residential and business areas. This contract includes construction of roads and streets, a new bridge and a tunnel.
This is the third contract that has been awarded to Veidekke Anläggning Öst in the Kista development project. The three contracts total approximately SEK 279 million.
The construction work will start this December and will be completed in June 2010.
