Orders worth NOK 86 million: New projects in Oslo and Jessheim for Veidekke's Building Division

Veidekke has won two new building contracts with a total value of NOK 86 million. The contracts are for a sheltered care centre in Oslo and a new school in Jessheim.
Veidekke is going to build a six-storey block of flats for Østerdalsgata 7 AS at Vålerenga in Oslo. The flats are especially adapted to the needs within the psychiatric health care. There will be parking space in the basement of the building and a terrace on the roof. The building has a gross floorage of 2,640 m2. The construction work started on May 15th. The completion date is March 15th 2001. The contract price is NOK 26 million.


Jessheim
Veidekke is going to construct a new school building at Skogmo in Jessheim. The new building will have room for pupils in the 1st to the 7th grade, as well as a medical health centre, a gymnasium and outdoor facilities. The client is the municipality of Ullensaker. The construction work will start in May, but the actual signing of the contract will not take place until the beginning of June. The contract price is NOK 60 million.
