Veidekke's construction operations in Norway will present a profit for the fourth quarter 2007 that is substantially better than for the same period last year. Profit is expected to amount to more than MNOK 275, compared with MNOK 146 for the same period last year. This can be ascribed to a high level of activity, sound operations and certain non-recurring items, such as settlement for disputes, clarification of risk and early-delivery bonuses.

Other business areas, except for Veidekke's Danish company, Hoffmann AS, have developed as expected. Hoffmann's Q4 results will be slightly weaker than the results achieved by the company in Q3 of this year (-MNOK13)
