This is equivalent to 77 percent of the number of flats. Total sales value of the second stage is just below NOK 200 million.

In addition, 10 dwellings of the first construction stage were sold in January. Of this stage as many as 85 of 110 dwellings have been sold.

Work on the first construction stage started in June 2003. The recent good sales figures have resulted in a decision to start construction of the second stage as well, which means that construction will progress continuously. The dwellings will be ready for occupancy in late autumn 2005.

Sales of the 95 dwellings that constitute the third construction stage are scheduled to start on 30 March 2004.

"We are very pleased at having designed a housing project with a location and a concept that people want," says Project Manager Bjørn Lind of Veidekke Eiendom. "The apartments are area-effective and they have large balconies, good light conditions and an excellent view, " he adds.

Already at the beginning of March erection of Sjølystpromenaden will start. This is a 170 m long "environmental cover" crossing highway E18. "The name Sjølystpromenaden is a result of an open name competition which were held some months ago," Mr. Lind explains.
