Statoil extends frame contract with Veidekke for maintenance and modifications in north Rogaland
On behalf of the Gassled partners and the operator Gassco, Statoil has extended the frame contract with Veidekke Entreprenør AS for maintenance and modifications of property and plant in north Rogaland where Statoil is the owner or technical services provider. The contract covers 2007 and 2008 and has a value of about NOK 130 million.
Veidekke's district office in Haugesund will be responsible for the work under the contract. District Manager Ove Nedrebø is very pleased about the extension.
"We see the extension of the contract as recognition from Statoil that we have a successful working relationship. We are very pleased about this and we will do everything we can to maintain and develop our good relationship in the next two years. The original contract had a duration of four years with an option of a further two years. Our organisation at Kårstø can now look forward to two more exciting years working with Statoil," says Mr. Nedrebø.
