In November 2003, the Swedish Competition Authority examined Veidekke's subsidiary Veidekke Stockholm AB and other Swedish construction companies based on suspicions of collusion related to a bid for an athletics arena in the Uppsala region.
The Competition Authority has today informed Veidekke Stockholm AB and the other construction companies that the investigations have not brought forward anything that points to a breach of the competition law. Nor have they found that the companies in any ways have cooperated on bidding, prices or other terms.

The Swedish Competition Authority therefore regards the matter as closed and the case has been dismissed.
