Two new building contracts for Veidekke in Oslo

Veidekke has signed a contract for the building of a new mall and flats and it will also undertake the complete renovation of a protected apartment building in the city. Together these contracts are worth NOK 42 million.
Falck Ytters Plass
Profier AS plans to build a shopping mall and flats by Waldemar Thranes gate and has awarded the contract to Veidekke. This is worth NOK 32 million excl. VAT. A new mall covering about 3,000 sq.m. will be constructed on the existing parking area and about 2,000 sq.m. will be made into twenty-one flats. The former playground will be re-established on the roof of the new mall.


The construction work will start in June and be completed by July 2003.


Incognitogaten
Veidekke has been asked by Høegh Invest A/S to undertake the complete renovation of a protected six-storey (including basement) apartment building. The work includes fitting out six flats ranging from 55 sq.m. to 110 sq.m. in size.


This is a turnkey contract worth NOK 10 million excl. VAT. The work is starting this month and will be completed before Christmas.
