Veidekke: Yet another logistics building at Lahaugmoen
Veidekke Logistikkbygg has signed a contract with Anthon Eiendom AS for the construction of an environmentally certified commercial building at Lahaugmoen in Lillestrøm. Norsk Bibliotektransport AS will be the tenant. The construction contract is valued at around NOK 140 million excluding VAT.
“We have completed a lengthy and good interaction phase to develop what will be our eleventh construction project in partnership with Anthon Eiendom. This will be an efficient non-residential building with clear environmental ambitions, and we once again appreciate the confidence shown in us,” says Roar Kristiansen, General Manager of Veidekke Logistikkbygg AS.
The building will include Veidekke Logistikkbygg’s dismantling instructions for possible later reuse and will be certified in accordance with BREEAM-NOR with energy class A. The targets for waste production in the execution phase are a sorting ratio of more than 95% and down towards 5 kg of waste per square meter.
Construction will start up in the spring with a planned takeover date of 1 April 2026. The commission is included in Veidekke’s order book for the fourth quarter of 2024.
