Veidekke ASA: Building more homes for Neptune in Oslo
Neptune Properties AS has awarded the contract for the second construction phase of the Holtet Horisont housing project in Oslo to Veidekke Entreprenør AS as well. The design and build contract is for 47 flats and an underground parking facility. The contract is worth NOK 121 million, excl. VAT.
In the second phase, Veidekke will erect four four-storey buildings containing 47 spacious, three and four-room flats, as well as unique, top-floor flats with large roof terraces. The apartments range in size from 65 m2, three-bedroom flats to the largest, 117 m2, top-floor flat. The buildings will be constructed in concrete and steel with rendered and brickwork facades with some details in wood.
Neptune has already awarded the contract for the construction of Holtet Horisont I, the project's first construction phase, to Veidekke. The two construction phases comprise a total of 86 flats, with a combined contract value of around NOK 232 million. The projects have generated a great deal of interest and 42 flats have already been sold. The existing buildings on the site are scheduled for demolition during the summer, while the actual construction work is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2016.
