Veidekke ASA: Clarification regarding sales price

Regarding today’s annoucement that Veidekke divests its property development operation, the company wishes to clarify that the amount of NOK 7.7 billion is the cash payment to the company on a debt-free basis. The buyer takes over the operation based on an enterprise value of NOK 8.75 billion including working capital, taxes and other debt items.

As stated in the previous stock exchange release, the transaction will generate a posted gain for Veidekke of approximately NOK 1.2 billion.
