Veidekke ASA: Constructing logistics hubs at Vestby
Veidekke Logistikkbygg has signed a contract with Pareto Eiendomsfellesskap AS for the construction of Nordisk Dækimport’s (NDI) new central warehouse facility at Vestby to the south of Oslo. The contract is a turnkey contract valued at approx. NOK 185 million excluding VAT.
The project involves the co-location of NDI’s existing warehousing facilities in Eastern Norway to the Vestby Business Park East in the municipality of Vestby. Pareto, NDI and Veidekke have worked closely together to develop a building that satisfies the requirements for a modern, efficient logistics hub. The building will have a gross area just over 23,500 m2 and will be adapted to NDI's range of goods encompassing everything from wheelbarrow tyres to construction tyres.

Construction will commence in the New Year and the project is scheduled for completion by summer 2022.
