Veidekke ASA: To build 52 homes at Ensjø in Oslo
Gladengveien DA has awarded Veidekke Entreprenør the contract to build stage two of the neighbouring projects Verkshagen and Stålverkskroken at Ensjø. The building of the 52 apartments will be carried out as a turnkey construction contract. The contract is worth NOK 100 million excluding VAT.
"We are very pleased to once again be selected as the preferred builder for OBOS and Gladengveien DA at Ensjø. When this is ready, we will have completed a total of 800 apartments and a large school in this community, and we are looking forward starting the project," says district manager Hans Olav Sørlie of Veidekke Oslo.
The project will have a selection of two, three and four room apartments ranging in size from 42 to 109 square metres. The buildings will be constructed of in situ concrete with prefabricated balcony and stair elements. The façades will primarily be cast with aluminium sheets. All apartments will have their own balconies or ground floor terraces, and the basement will accommodate storage spaces and parking facilities for cars and bicycles.
Building is set to start in Q1 2016, with occupation of the apartments from Q3 2017. See http://www.obos.no/nybolig for more information on the projects.
