Veidekke ASA: To build production plant in Gothenburg

Veidekke Entreprenad has been awarded the contract to develop and build a new production plant and office premises for Rosemount Tank Radar AB in Mölnlycke industrial park in Gothenburg. This is be a turnkey contract valued at SEK 200 million, excluding VAT.

Veidekke will build an office building and production building that will be linked, with a total floor area of 17,000 m2. The project has been named "RTR New Facility," and 400 employees of Rosemount Tank Radar (RTR) will have their workplace here when construction is completed in early 2016.

"Since the autumn we have cooperated closely with RTR on developing a cost-efficient office and production plant that is tailored to their requirements. We are looking forward to getting started with construction," says Christer Sjöstrand, business developer with Veidekke Bygg Väst.
