Veidekke ASA: Veidekke subsidiary to build office building in Stavanger
Block Berge Bygg AS has been awarded the contract to build a new office building in Stavanger for Rosenberggata 101 AS. This is a turnkey contract valued at NOK 155 million, excluding VAT.
The project will be located at Bjergsted in Stavanger municipality. The building will total 10,300 m² over five floors including a garage. Architects are Rambøll Arkitektur and Plan AS in Stavanger.
The project has been developed in collaboration between client, architect and contractor, and will be constructed with load-bearing pre-cast concrete façade elements of polished grey concrete. The solution provides a solid foundation for erecting an energy-efficient energy class A building. The building will also be BREEAM certified with the assessment "very good."
The building will provide offices for employees of Centrica Energi. Construction will commence in January 2013, with occupancy scheduled for July 2014.
