Veidekke ASA: Veidekke to build 104 flats in Helsingborg
Helsingborgshem has awarded Veidekke Entreprenad the contract to build the Parkhusen housing project in Helsingborg. Four ten storey blocks of flats are to be built, in addition to a parking facility. This will be a turnkey contract valued at SEK 160 million, excluding VAT.
The housing project is located at Slottshöjden in one of Helsingborg's most attractive districts, just next to Øresundsparken and with a view of Øresund.
"Our vision with Parkhusen is to create a unique project where a diversity of people will find an attractive place to live. Veidekke won the competition in cooperation with architects Tengbom because they were most successful in reflecting the vision," says project manager Björn Ravemark with Helsingborghem.
"We are proud and pleased that we once again have the confidence of Helsingborghem to build attractive and energy-friendly flats. In this project we will also develop involvement work with VDC (Virtual Design and Construction). By involving all parties we create a sense of commitment that ensures high productivity, good quality and a good working environment," says project manager Stefan Wegner of Veidekke Entreprenad.
Building will start in the spring and completion is scheduled for 2016.
