Veidekke ASA: Veidekke wins contract for commercial building in Ski

Veidekke subsidiary Norske Stålbygg AS has signed a contract with Anthon B Nilsen Eiendom AS to build a combined warehouse and office building for Interfrukt in Ski in Akershus. The value of the contract is NOK 208 million excluding VAT.

"This contract is the biggest in Norske Stålbygg's history since the company started in 1968. We are very happy to have been chosen as turnkey contractor. We have worked with the customer and our own architect to develop a very efficient commercial building that is tailored to the customer's needs," says Lars Hjertås, General Manager of Norske Stålbygg.

The building, which will be located in Regnbuen Næringspark in Ski south of Oslo, will be 20.000 m2in total and will include dry stores, cold stores and frozen stores, as well as an office section. Norske Stålbygg will erect the building in collaboration with Veidekke's building and construction operation in Oslo. Building work starts in September and the building will be ready to move into in May 2014.
