Veidekke awarded Contract for New Building at Kårstø for Statoil

Statoil has awarded the contract for the construction of a new operations and office building at the Kårstø gas processing plant in Tysvær in Rogaland to Veidekke Entreprenør AS. The contract has a value of approximately NOK 40 million excluding VAT.
Statoil has signed the contract on behalf of Gassco AS, operator for the processing plant.


Veidekke will have the main responsibility for the construction work, including electrical work, water, heating and sanitary systems, painting, etc.


Construction starts in July this year and will be completed within a period of 12 months. At certain times as many as 30 workers will be engaged in the work at the building site.
