Veidekke Contract for Thor Heyerdahl Upper Secondary School in Larvik
AF Synergi has signed a contract with the Vestfold county authorities for the development of the Thor Heyerdahl Upper Secondary School in Larvik. AF Synergi is a working partnership consisting of ten companies. Veidekke Entreprenør AS represents the working partnership's project management and the structural work in the project.
The contract has a total value of NOK 650 million excl. VAT and Veidekke's share of the contract is approximately NOK 420 million excl. VAT.
The development of the school includes demolition of the existing and construction of a new upper secondary school for 1,650 pupils, with about 26,600 m2 total floor space, plus the establishment of a stadium with seating for 4000 spectators and covering an area of about 7,200 m2.
Demolition starts on 4 June and the project is scheduled for completion before school start in August 2009.
