Veidekke is building a multi-storey car park and a recycling station in Bergen

Veidekke Entreprenør AS has signed a contract with the Port of Bergen Authority for the construction of a new multi-storey car park at the Port of Bergen. It has also signed a contract with BIR Privat AS to build a new recycling station at Espehaugen. The total value of these contracts is NOK 53.3 million excl. VAT.
The Port of Bergen Authority is building a new multi-storey car park in Jekteviken by the Port of Oslo. The building will be linked with the new terminal for the express coaster. It will have about 270 parking slots, offices and storage areas and total about 7200 square metres. It will largely be built of elements with brick facades. This is a turnkey contract for completion by the summer holidays 2006. The work is underway. The contract price is NOK 28.7 million excl. VAT.


BIR Privat AS plans to build a new recycling plant at Espehaugen in Fana. The contractual work consists of preparing an area of about 4.5 acres, laying roads and open areas, and erecting an administration building and warehouse. Veidekke Entreprenør will be the main contractor. Already underway, the work will be completed by summer 2006. The contract price is NOK 24.6 million excl. VAT.
