VEIDEKKE ON A STEADY COURSE

Profit before taxation for the first three quarters was was NOK 75.4 million, as against NOK 50.1 million a year before. In the third quarter results have improved in all areas of activity.

Veidekke's total turnover for the first three quarters was NOK 3,019 million as against NOK 2,888 million at the same time last year. Veidekke's total turnover is somewhat higher than last year. After adjustments for the acquisitions of Molde Asfalt, Topp-Dekke and Moderne Bygg, which show a total turnover so far this year of about NOK 145 million, turnover as a whole has remained stable compared with last year.

Orders-on-hand, which had a relatively steep growth during the first half of the year, have remained steady and stood at NOK 2,191 million at 30 September. Moreover, the Asphalt Division has long-term orders for NOK 210 million.
