Veidekke is very pleased to be able to realise a substantial gain on the sale of these shares and reduce the exposure this investment has entailed. Ramirent has shown a positive development during the period Veidekke has been a shareholder in the company, as is reflected in its share price performance. We believe that value creation will continue in Ramirent and for this reason we wish to retain a considerable shareholding in the company. Following the sale, Veidekke will hold 1,042,857 shares (8.05 %) in Ramirent.

The sale will mean a further strengthening of Veidekke's financial position. Veidekke believes in higher levels of investment in the future in, for example, development of housing projects for its own account. The proceeds from the sale will therefore be kept in the company as a basis for further development and growth in our core business areas.
